“Lovely, quiet town”

This is a great location to go for a jog on the river side or to just stroll the streets with your family. Open area. Everything seems to close early unless you are going to dinner but a nice place to just have a walk through.

“Something for Everyone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

The historic district provides shops galore, from knitting shops to antique shops, clothing stores, and even some wine-tastings. There were a lot of items made by local artisans, especially jewelry. They also carried a lot of items made in the USA. Plan on spending one very full day or more if you want to explore all the shops.

“Historic are with great shopping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

This is just a beautiful and quaint area in downtown St. Charles Missouri, the site of the state's first capitol. The brick paved streets are wonderful, the lighting is great and the shopping and dining are fantastic. Huge selection of boutiques.

“Fun and beautiful”

This area is really pretty. Lots of cute shops, craft stores, boutiques, and restaurants. At Christmas time it is lit up and the shops are open late a few days during the week and on weekends.
