Quite a disappointment. It took an hour to get our food and the music was so loud that it was difficult to talk across the table to friends. Our waiter seemed not to care about service.

The home made chips were hard and had no salt or flavor. I suggest ordering the fries instead. My son ordered the jambalaya which was warned to be spicy hot but he added hot sauce because it was very mild.

The Philly Cheese Steak was really good though.

Overall, we will not go back. Too many choices on the lake to deal with this again.

This restaurant has the rudest, most inappropriate manager/host (not sure what his actual job there is-man with curly mustache) of any place I have ever been on or off the water. In past years I would have rated the food higher but the portions have become so small and the price so high that I simply can't. If you are looking for a restaurant on the Gravois there are so many better choices than Jolly Rogers-please don't waste your time!

Good food and great place to go with kids! Friendly staff and prompt service for docking the boat. Our son really enjoyed running around the playground and playing games in the arcade. The resident parrot also came out for a visit posing for pictures on kids arms. We will definitely return for lunch again.

We used to go here a lot a few years ago however the place has really slipped and we are lucky to go once a season now.

The food is nothing special. Mediocre bar food that is pretty pricy.

The place has a fun pirate themed atmosphere and kids love it IF the band is not playing. If you get there while the band is playing it so loud you cannot carry on a conversation.

OK once a season for a change of pace but not much more.

Visited Jolly Rogers over the 4th of July weekend, and it was an absolutely amazing time. The place is huge and everything is waterfront outdoor seating. When the 7 of us walked in we knew there would be a wait, especially on a saturday night, but that was ok bc the bar was phenomenal. My gf ordered their signature drink, the Jolly Roger, it was an ice cream and liqueur drink and it was amazing. We ended up waiting over an hour for a table, and waited an hour for food. This was the only bad thing I would have to say about this visit. But the fire in the hole chicken sandwich i had was to die for. Their homemade chips were a great accompaniment and the view was not to be beaten. They had a live band that was playing a very good mix of music and everyone was dancing and having a good time. This place has got all it's ducks in a row.
