First of all I want to point out that many of the reviews on here are for the White River Fish Company in BRANSON... this is the White River Grille in ROCKAWAY BEACH... two very different places.
The White River Grille in Rockaway Beach is a quaint little diner. We went there for brunch and it was okay. Some of the food was pretty good, but my biggest complaint is that you're putting warm food on cold plates, so by the time you get back to your table, your food is cold. That's a pet peeve of mine... if you have buffets you need to warm the plates. But for the price, it's a good value and again, the food was pretty good.
Also, some of the booth seats were ripped and torn and that just looks tacky, so the place could use some updating, but it was generally clean and well kept.
It has a great location right on the river... not that you can see the river from inside the place, though. I think a great update could be a nice patio overlooking the river... or bigger windows on the river side of the place. That could make a "quaint" little highway diner into a "must visit" restaurant.
