This is a nice independent (non chain) steakhouse. The owners have been at this same location for years. Parking is easy (though a bit of an uphill walk from their lot). White tablecloths, "casual dressy" dress code, excellent steak, full bar, superior service. The room is a bit dark, and the decor is dated, but it all adds to the comfort of the room. My wife and I dine there maybe 10 times a year and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience.

Entertaining a client here proved to be a very embarassing experience, and we should have known something was wrong when on a saturday night there were only 5 or 6 people in the place.
The service was very slow and not very proffesional but the food was definately just plain bad. Old bag salad and some kind of store bought dressing, over cooked everything.
My client ordered a filet medium well. What he got looked like a hockey puck. When he sent it back he was told that he would be charged for another also because he had ordered the first one medium well and thats what they considered medium well when it was obviously just very very burnt. We paid for the second also and got yet another bad piece of meat. This was all very expensive. BAD management and a joke of a restaurant. Never again.

Very limited menu, but the things they do have are prepared masterfully. Typical nice steakhouse pricing, so don't expect a bargain and be aware of the dresscode. No jeans and shirts must be collared (last I heard)

We ate here the night before Valentine's Day. The salad mix was obviously from a bag but the steaks were delicious. However, we were floored when we were charged $4 for a 6 ounce Sprite and another $4 for a refill. When we brought it up to the waitress, she said that's what the prices were that night and sodas were usually $2.50. We spoke with the very unapologetic manager who blatantly lied and said they were $4 every night. He went on and on about how it was a "white tablecloth" restaurant and they had to charge what they did. I've eaten in many "white tablecloth" places and never paid $4 for a measly Sprite. I'm sure their mix is the same as the Mexican joint next door. As for atmosphere, the place hasn't been redecorated in decades. A little freshening up would do wonders. But that's a moot point- you won't find me there ever again.
