We spent a long weekend in a King Loft Suite. The room was amazing. The bathroom was very large and had both a Jacuzzi tub and a great shower. The towels were fluffy, clean and replaced daily. We had a complimentary continental breakfast every morning with fresh muffins and fruit, yogurt, and juice. The room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. The room had rustic, luxury that was enhanced by a fireplace (non-working) and a balcony that looked out over the campus and the Branson strip. Returning from a day of shows or shopping, the room was a welcome distance from all the hustle and traffic that is Branson. Every night you will get a “turn down service” that includes warm cookies (usually Chocolate Chip) and fresh milk from the campus dairy.
The food at the restaurant was great. Much of the food is local to the College of the Ozarks. The service staff are students who are working their way through school and each has a wonderful story to tell and they go out of their way to make your time at the Keeter Center the best part of your day. The Sunday Brunch is a wonderful way to end your stay.
There is a gift shop where you can purchase hand crafted items, decorations, candles, and books about the Ozark area, people, and food. Also available are homemade jams, fruit cakes, and smoked meats. With their own mill on campus, they also have biscuit, pancake, muffin mixes.
Can’t wait to go back.
