Owner description: College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

The Keeter Center on campus is a small but totally aswesom e hotel with a wonderful full service restaurant open to the public. Staying there overnite will be a treat, the students wait on you hand and foot. Check in and enjoy, don't leave the property until you check out the next day. Treat yourself!! This is a work for your schooling college, only 7 in the country. Students do NOT PAY TUITION. Put the school in your will!! They get not govt money.

Amidst all the activities of Branson, the college visit stands out as a quiet, local, harmonic balance to the glitter and action. My family of five plus in-laws enjoyed a walk around the pond, touring the mill, then going over to make reservations for lunch (60-90 minutes wait times due to popularity!) Also, don't miss the museum.

Go ahead and reserve a morning to relax and enjoy the collegiate atmosphere and a superb lunch. You'll never get better service anywhere in Branson.

Go Work U!

Toured College, which is "tuition free" . Of course, you give back by servicing at the School, which is a farm, but if you are into animals, and research and willing to give of your time and get a great education. This is the place.

Its worth a visit. Thats all I can say. You wont regret the trip. The kids work for their education, they dont pay tuition. Everyone there is extremely nice and polite.
