Loved the cave, Guide was well informed about history of area and about the formations in the cave. Recommend it highly.

The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about caves and the history of this cave. If I did again, would probably not go with a school group again. Missed hearing the good stories the guide had to tell.

We really enjoyed the Smallin Civil war cave and the history behind the cave. Our tour guide was very down-home and we enjoyed that and the information he gave us on how the cave had been used in the past. Other cave tours ' tell' of the blind crawdads in their caves, but we actually got to see a lot of them and the cave bats. What was really good was the fact that I got to ride my wheelchair into the cave with no problems. That was a big draw for us. It was a great way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Learning our nation's civil war history is important to us.

While waiting for our tour we got to chat with the owner (Kevin) in the gift shop...I'm a local caver so it's nice to meet the owners & chat about the history and what's going on "behind the scenes". Our tour guide was wonderful, gave us lots of history on the old uses of the caves, from Baldknobber hideout to local gathering place. The entrance is possibly one of the most spectacular in the state, as far as tour caves go.

We went and had a great time. The water in the cave was clear and we could see fish and other creatures. It was just a beautiful place to see. Great staff
