Description: This is your friendly neighborhood bbq joint. We specialize in great comfort food (think hickory smoked meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy). Wobbly Boots has been praised by Southern Living, Golf Magzine, Lake Lifestyles, and the KC Star. Barbecue is the staple but the burgers, wings and soups are also fantastic.

This was our first visit and it was there first night at their new larger location next door to old one. Everything was great!

My wife ordered an appetizer sampler platter as her meal. Shrimp wrapped in bacon, wings, onion rings and ribs. The onion rings are really light and crispy. The shrimp were large and tender. The ribs were good, but I prefer less smoke flavor. The wings were also juiced and tender, but heavily smoked. I had the combo brisket and pork sandwich, as good as sandwiches from some of the famous KC BBQ places.

The drinks were reasonable. The place had a good vibe. Better than most places in the area,

We recently visited Wobbly Boots during our stay in Osage Beach. We chose it based on good reviews, but it was rather disappointing. The barbeque was very average, but our daughter's macaroni and cheese was great! The cheesy corn and ham is a must-order, too--delicious. Unfortunately, it was extremely noisy, which bothered us and our daughter. It definitely catered more towards their bar business than their restaurant business. Not really a good place to take the family. The kitchen and areas not open to the public were dirty, and it's hard to get to the entrance. It looks as though they are expanding into a larger building next door, which may have more space for restaurant patrons.

Worst babyback ribs I have ever had! I've never had babyback rib with fat on them. Maybe the rest of the menu is good, I wouldn't order the babybacks.

After all the great reviews on TripAdvisor I figured i'd stop by for an early dinner before heading back to Saint Louis. I was quite unimpressed with the ribs here. As a self-proclaimed rib enthusiast and lover, i give the ribs a 3/5. Heres why: They were a bit chewy and the sauce was almost too sweet, maybe i was just expecting more but i think there are better options in the Ozarks. The service was terrible as there was only one waitress in the whole restaurant as well. The atmosphere was nice though. Maybe their other bbq options are better but don't roll with the ribs!

They were the absolute highlight of the meal. Had high hopes for the baby back ribs, but they were dry and tough - nice flavor, but the secret to cooking ribs so the meat falls off the bone is still a secret unknown to Wobbly Boots. Pulled pork was good. Service was below average - our server didn't check on us until we were done eating (and we had both wanted more to drink). In fact, as soon as we were done eating, several of the waitstaff checked on us, almost simultaneously.
