Description: The truth is, you can get pizza and pasta lots of places these days.  We know that, that’s why our mission is to become your favorite restaurant!  So how do we do that? With Gourmet Pizza, Pasta, World Famous House Salad and legendary service!  The atmosphere is unpretentious, fun and “Lake Casual” so please, don’t violate our dress code.  And oh by the way, Gourmet refers to our fresh ingredients, secret hand-crafted recipes and the love we put into every dish, not the price… Our pizza is thin crust with dough made from scratch.  (Hand-tossed available at the Osage Beach location)  Only the finest meats, cheeses and freshest vegetables adorn the top.  Since most of the pasta recipes originate from “The Hill” area of St. Louis you can expect to find many regional favorites like, Toasted Ravioli, Baked Mostaccioli, Cannelloni con Bianco and Lasagna as well as several house specialty pastas.  But, if there is one stand-out item on the menu it has to be the House Salad.  Cold, crisp and fresh, a blend of Iceberg and Romaine lettuce, diced red peppers, green onions and provel cheese tossed in a red wine vinegar based creamy Italian dressing and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Enjoy outside dining with a beautiful view of the lake at the Lake Ozark location, only 2 miles west of Bagnell Dam Blvd., on Horseshoe Bend Pkwy., or enjoy the Big Game at the Osage Beach location across the street from Dierberg’s at the west entrance to the Outlet Mall. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday, 3-6 p.m., with great drink specials and half price appetizers.

Food is average but becomes very good when sauces are tasted and adjusted personally. The bar staff is GREAT! Recommended new drinks I would have never thought of and they were terrific.

“Oustanding!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Of the Italian food in the area we liked this one the best! I grew up with home cooked Italian food and it is hard for me to find a place that comes close to home - You did it! Great service, great prices, great portions, great portions! Thank you!

“okay”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

nice, cool and welcoming from the summer heat. Friendly service. Yummy salad, but the appetizers we had did not seem very fresh...kind of stale. Maybe it was just an off night. I'd try again.

“the curse of the bland”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Let's start with the best thing: super-fast, very professional service by the wait staff. Their hours are also better than some other restaurants in the area (we were trying to have dinner fairly late on Sunday night). The problem is that the Midwestern curse of bland to mild food has not spared this establishment. We spent the entire dinner trying to pour everything from chili flakes to black pepper on the food to give it some taste. The bruschetta was seriously Texas toast with large slices of tomato on it, sprinkled with cheese. The manicotti disappeared under a huge pile of cream sauce that had nice texture but no taste. The only recognizable taste in the pizza was salt. Lots of salt.
