“You'll come back.”

Not much ambiance inside or out (old bldg). But, you'll come back again & again for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We make the 60-mile r/t once a week. Good service, great food, large portions, reasonable price. Crowded at peak times.

Dinners are $10 or less for hot & cold salad bar, fresh bread, entree, potato, veg and fresh bread). I love the catfish (2 fillets) and country fried steak. Almost everyone leaves with a to-go box. Often can’t resist the temptation to grab a dessert on the way out (attached bakery).

“If you're near here.............eat here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2010

This is a throwback to the non-chain restaurants of the 50's and 60's. Great home cooked food; intelligent and efficient waitresses who know what they're serving and how to serve it. Tonight was our second trip here and we couldn't have been more pleased

“Great diner home cooking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2009

This place is great, its the kind of place that only locals would know about. Its in a run of the mill building and certainly doesn't look special on the inside. But the food is great. They serve all home cooked or home made items in large portions. The chicken fried steak was amazing as was the veggie soup and the pickles beets were the best I have ever had.
