Formerly a Best Western, and before that a Ramada I think, the Moberly Inn is the best option in town. It is not a luxury property by any means, but the rooms are of good size and maintained well for their age. We had the option of a down and out or an interior corridor room and chose interior on this stay. The beds are firm but good and the room was very clean. Bathroom is a little tight, but they can't change that! Channel selection is local cable with good variety and flat panel television. No fridge or microwave in this room, but for a one night stay it wasn't needed. The breakfast is quite good but you do have to go outside to get to the restaurant / banqet room section of the property.
While this is an older property it is significantly better than the 'franchised' Holiday Inn or Super 8 also in Moberly. On a slow Easter weekend we paid about 70 + tax, so the value was good.
