Always friendly staff, clean rooms and fun dealers! Be sure to use a player's card because they are generous with comps for food and rooms. I love the ease of getting to the casino from the hotel because they are all in one building. Several dining options available and a gift shop.

Hollywood has friendly people, and a clean safe casino. Rewards are good. Have not been to most others, but the rewards at Ameristar do not measure up. The restaurants have tasty foods and the wait staff is extremely good.

Over all was good with one exception. Our room was never cleaned on our second day, not even clean towels. We contacted the desk at 9:30 PM to at least get clean Towels. We returned to our room at 11:30 PM still no towels. Went down to the desk and the and the person at the desk went and got us some

We stayed one night and our expectations were high since rooms were supposedly newly renovated. But our room 204 in the sunset tower had a very small bathroom with a broken toilet seat, a make up mirror on the wall that only someone 6 feet tall could use plus the ceiling was patched and the sliding barn door was scraped. The living room/ bedroom itself had dark wood laminate flooring and plain dark brown wallpaper with poor lighting in the seating area. There was no desk or chair only a small sofa. The sleeping area did have a light on each side of the bed but the set up of the room was awkward. The television sat on a dresser that faced a wall rather than the bed or seating area. It did not swivel so if we wanted to watch tv, we had to turn the entire tv toward either the bed or the sofa. A coffee maker was on a dresser INSIDE a closet with nowhere to plug it in so it couldn't be used without moving it to the bathroom. There were only mugs or glasses which are unsanitary...paper cups are better for hotel rooms. We asked for a different room but were told they were all dark and the same. So if you would like to stay in a cave, this hotel is for you!
