This small, 30 room hotel, part of the Protea chain, is in Milnerton, a suburb of Cape Town, about 15 miles from the center of Cape Town. It is part of the Century City complex, that includes Canal Walk - a mall with 400 stores, a 20 screen cineplex, multiple restaurants, two supermarkets, etc. There are also high rise and low rise residences, offices and even a bird sanctuary. The community is guard gated and security is pretty high. It is located right off a main highway and near bus and train terminals, but public transportation is considered a bit risky by some. Our room was a mini-suite, with micro wave and small refrigerator, along with utensils. The large bedroom had an interesting feature - behind a curtain was a large bath tub. The shower was in another room. Full breakfast was included, with traditional continental fare and hot items, including omelets made to order. The staff went out of their way to provide friendly service, and since we were there for a month, we got to know all of them quite well. Because of our long stay, the limited closet space was an issue, but that's where the bath tub helped us. There was a nearby "wash and tumble" so it was not necessary to bring more than 10 days of clothing.

Room Tip: Central heating is non-existant in Cape Town. Make sure that there is forced air heating, not radiant, at any hotel.

Loved the location of the hotel and loved the fact that it is so close to the Canal Walk Mall.
Shopping anytime u want :)
The apartments were comfortable and very nice.

The hotel in general is okay for the business traveler, however small things infuriates me every time. Breakfast frequently starts twenty minutes late, which impacts my already busy schedule - and then the food and service is of poor quality.
PS - do not bother with their 'pro-card' loyalty scheme (or scam) - as you have to pay for it and will find it hard to get any use out of it.

let us start with the sad and sorry saga of our stay.Arrived 11.30pm christmas eve to be told we have never heard of you or your booking even with our booking ref and comfirmation of payment. We got a room one but not the suite we had payed for.The next day we were moved to the suite and told our luggage would be moved for us.It was not so we collected our bags and went to a dirty and pretty messy suite.the ironing board looked like someone had wiped there backside with it seriously skiddies all over it Washing up still in the sink i could go on and on and on but needless to say we won`t stay there again on the plus side all the staff were very nice.
