Our Family searched various websites for a holiday apartment in El Morche Southern Spain for a three week stay in the December/January 2017/2018.
An apartment was sourced on Holiday Lettings on TripAdvisor Rentals website. Duplex junto a la playa El Morche Costa del Sol Province of Malaga Spain.
On booking and payment a booking fee was charged which implies TripAdvisor Rentals endorsed this property but I fear never carried out an inspection as to how reliable the description and location of the property is.
Before booking the property I confirmed with the owner that there was adequate heating for evenings and nights and I was assured there was but sadly there wasn’t.
Location of the property did not correspond with photo 8 on the Traveladvisor Rental website advertising the apartment which appeared to show the apartment on the seafront. The apartment was located in a second row street and at the time of our visit had no exposure to sunshine.
Indoors the stairwell to the upper bedroom could be deemed unsafe in particular for elderly guests as the washing machine was installed on the top floor.
The TV had no interface to laptops or tablets to enable the showing of videos in one’s native language.
Facilities for eating indoors was very basic as was the provision of kitchen utensils and the incomplete vacuum machine.
All in all our family were unhappy with the misinformation regarding location and basic accommodation priced at High Season prices.
