This is a gorgeous hotel that feels more like a retreat center. Located on the beautiful Unity Village campus, it is incredibly peaceful here.
In addition to the gorgeously-appointed (and super comfy) room at a reasonable rate, there is a labyrinth to walk directly across the street, fountains and rose gardens on the campus, and more. There are services and resources for those interested in Unity, but the hotel doesn't have any religious overtones so anyone will be comfortable here.
The people are also really friendly. One day during room service, my teddy bear (yes, on a year-long road trip even an adult woman needs a teddy bear!) got caught up in the bedding and went to the laundry. The front desk and cleaning staff went on high alert and joked about putting out an "APB" for my bear. Once he was found, I had multiple people stop me to make sure that I'd gotten him back. It was incredibly lovely.
If you want to be right in the middle of the action, this is not the place for you. But if you want a very quiet, peaceful place with shops and food a 5 to 10 minute drive, you've found it!
I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return many times in the future.More
