I had heard allot of things about Cockrell I was excited to go. It has very interesting decor in each building. Lots of Feista wear and dishes plus cooking items.
I found it to be very pricey and not really a place to find a bargin. I am glad I went but I won't return.

“You may want to eat a meal before visitng !!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a picturesque place consisting of an old time general store and several outbuildings. They have gourmet cooking utensils, unusual condiments, wonderful jams and jellies and tableware for all tastes.

First class all the way. WARNING: They are usually sampling some tasty treat.............sample with caution. You will want to buy a little of everything. If you eat before coming, you may leave with more of your funds intact !!!

Well worth the drive. Highly recommended.

Beautiful store, old-fashioned, small, lovely, personable, lots of unique items to find. Complex with more than one shop. Very interesting area.

“A fun place to visit and explore”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

The main store building winds around through rooms filled with well-displayed merchandise, mostly plates and kitchen supplies and gadgets. You never know what’s going to be around the next corner. There’s a narrow hallway down the middle that has racks of jellies and preserves on both sides which are fun to look at. My wife found huckleberry jelly at a decent price and it’s something that’s not especially common to find. Besides the main store, there were three or four other buildings. One is filled with Fiesta brand plates and dishes, and another has a lot of themed cake and cookie molds. Be warned that while the buildings are historical and old-fashioned, most of the prices aren’t and are generally pretty high. This would be a good place to find stocking stuffers or small gifts for a cook. Anyway, we enjoyed visiting and will probably be back. This place is just off highway 50 on the way to Powell Gardens, so if you’re headed that way anyway, this would make a great add-on stop!
