I've been several times to this restaurant on the quiet side of the lake. I have never been disappointed. All the way around from drinks, appetizers, entrees and deserts its been a
great treat. My favorite place to go for something special at the lake.

Wanted something special for our 50th and it was!!! The restaurant was a little loud due to the number of customers but our meal was great from beginning to end. Fried Lobster...the best and a very generous portion. The Prime Rib was excellent! We asked our server to recommend a white wine and she did and all four at the table loved it and ordered another bottle. Loved the way the salad was served in a large bowl to help yourself and the house dressing was superb! Can't say enough about what a wonderful evening we had and wonder why we waited to long to try it out. We will be back!!

Interior is kind of dark and could use some refreshing. Menu is small enough to make choosing a meal easy but large enough for several choices. It seems a little pricey for the taste but that seems to be the trend today in upscale restaurants. The salad was fresh and crispy, service was excellent, our waitress made us feel welcome and special, hostess was also very good.

My husband and I decided on a last minute date night out at JJ's at the Copper Pot last Friday night. We did not have reservations, but were seated immediately. The wait staff were very gracious even though they were extremely busy. The food was just as we anticipated. My husband had the prime rib and I had the Dover sole. They were both delicious. Our dessert was fried bread pudding - oh my it was yummy! After dinner we sat in the lounge and enjoyed the entertainment. We will definitely be back!

The many hummingbirds at the feeders entertained us as we chose our entrees. We watched as a neighboring table had Crème brûlée prepared tableside, a curious coffee service, and cognac topping their lobster bisque. We chose chicken tenderloins with morels, perfectly grilled asparagus, and amazing shrimp over excellent homemade shoestring potatoes. The salad was cold and crisp, with excellent homemade dressings and croutons, served expertly in cold dishes. The french onion soup was first class, with a crispy pastry on top rather than soggy bread. Although we passed on the wine selections, they have an impressive list with several of our favorites on the list. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the after-dinner show - coffee made tableside in a device called a vaculator with schlag on the side (whipped cream and sugar blended together). All in all a great discovery amongst many dining choices that don't deliver nearly as well as JJ's at the Copper Pot. Our server, Mandy, was professional enough to deserve requesting as your server when you visit. Well done and Thank You, Jeff, Mary and Joseph.
