Staff very rude and unwilling to help out at all. Rooms were messy and unkept. Towels were dated and stained. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. In the future we will probably just stay with family. Not up to Choice standards at all.

Let me apologize for your unpleasant stay with us. I hope you stopped at the front desk and shared your concerns with the attendant. I would have set things right with you before you checked out of the hotel. We do have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Thank you for your feedback---without that we could not improve our services.

I stay in a lot of Choice Hotel properties. This was average at best. Room was clean, service was good. A/C unit had a musty smell. Breakfast was weak, no juice was available. Also, re-paint the outside. That brown almost made me pass this one by. I probably would not stay here again.

Pros....easy access from main highway going into town

Cons.....noisy because located on main highway, room had layer of dust coating practically everything, pretty lame brkfst offerings with everything put away 15 minutes before end of posted serving time, key cards to doors at end of building malfunctioned/wouldn't work most of the time

Recently stayed a couple nights at this hotel. It's a smaller hotel, but that's what I liked about it. The hotel was clean. The room was nice sized with a queen sized bed and full size sofa, work station, mini fridge and microwave. They had free wifi...and a pretty nice LG TV too. The staff was friendly. There is no pool and I don't believe they have a fitness center either (I went to the local Y a few miles away for just a $6.00 daily fee), but they do have an indoor hot tub that I did not use. They have a hot breakfast which is not like your mom's home cooked breakfast...but decent enough with quite a few options.

It's not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, it's a good deal.

Room Tip: Get a second floor room if possible which will be quieter.

Stayed for one night while visiting Truman State University. If we were staying for more than one night we probably would have opted for a hotel with more amenities. (I think the only hotel option in the area with more amenities might be the Holiday Inn Express?) Anyhow, this is an older property with updated rooms. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy as well, although the tub drained slowly, so I ended up standing in calf deep water while showering. Overall the workmanship and attention to detail seemed to be lacking when they updated the rooms, creating a sense of the bathroom being "dirty" when it really wasn't. But it's a Comfort Inn and not the "Ritz" so that may be a nit-picky point. Other reviewers found the staff to be friendly but I wasn't that impressed. While checking out we had to wait while the desk clerk finished up what sounded like a personal phone call. Then after she hung up that call she decided to take another call before helping us - even though we had been standing there for awhile. It was particularly annoying because the second call sounded like a sales call which took her awhile to figure out. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the customer standing in front of you takes priority over telephone calls (you of course politely ask the caller if they can hold). In summary, a decent place to lay your head for a night. Nothing more. Nothing less.

My wife, three under 11 grandchildren, and I stayed one night in June. It was a very pleasant stay. Pamela at the desk when we checked in was very nice, and the lady(I didn't catch her name) when we checked out was nice also. Room was very clean as was the whole motel. A little dated but comfortable. The big drawback is no pool, although there is a small hot tub. Breakfast was average but the lady restocking was helpful. Overall very good and we would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Get south side. Probably a little less road noise. Second floor was good.

Have stayed here several times for family events and found it to be acceptably clean with exceptionally nice staff. Breakfast the usual, with enough choices. No elevator, ask for first floor of you cannot walk up two flights with luggage. Refrigerator came in handy. Located in commercial strip across from Walmart

Room Tip: Try to stay toward back of hotel, located on a major highway.
