What a fabulous time we just had staying in a King Suite at the Port of Kimberling Marina & Resort. We stayed here last fall, but there is no comparison to staying in a King Suite. It is 700 square feet versus 300 square feet in the regular King Room. The property is new, so the suite is like staying in a model home. Most of the King Suites have a balcony overlooking the lake with doors from both the bedroom and the living area. There are granite counter-tops in the kitchen area with wood floors.

This was off season, so it was a fabulous AAA rate of only $90 (versus $67 AAA rate for a King Room). We felt like it was worth every penny for the relaxation.

Bed - very comfortable with lots of pillows with varying firmness.
View - gorgeous view of the lake
Suite - quiet (room 213 is at the end of the hall so it was very quiet), private bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living area
balcony - nice view, private and quiet. Ask for second or third floor so you have a balcony and not just a walk-out patio.

We have family in Kimberling City and are so happy to have discovered this hotel. With 5 of us, it is hard for all of us to stay in their small home but the convenience of having a nice property right in KC as opposed to driving every day from Branson can't be beat. I have only positives to report. Quiet environment, super clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff. The only thing that would improve the experience at all is an indoor pool but considering all of the positives, this is certainly not a deal breaker. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Great new property. This is NOT a bed and breakfast as listed, so go to Ma's Place for a "home style" fantastic breakfast. (Avoid Shirley's Diner as the service was horrible and food was only fair.) Our room was great even though we didn't have a view and we were not facing the water. After seeing photos of the rooms in some of the other local properties, this was a delight - all new and modern.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake. It would be worth upgrading to a suite to have a view of th...

Off all the busy highways, I felt lucky to have found this place! We are very familiar with the Kimberling area but didnt realize they had just built this hotel! They paid a lot of attention to detail and what makes a hotel stay pleasant, we got the King Suite. Huge bathroom, private bedroom, living room with sleeper. They advertise this as sleeping 5, but obviously only accommodates 4, you will pay an additional 10 bucks a night for a roll away bed.
Also I found noisy neighbors who stay up until 3 am slamming doors and running up and down the hallways were not addressed by management. This was the only complaint though.
This IS the nicest hotel in Kimberling right now and we recommend it!

We stayed in a Lakeview Suite. The room was large...full kitchen, dining area, pull-out couch, and a separate bedroom. The staff was extremely friendly, and the service was fantastic. The pool is beautiful, or, the hotel is located just steps from the lake if you prefer.

There is a fantastic bar/restaurant close to the hotel right on the water called Coyote's. Try the pizza, it's delicious!

Another nice thing about this hotel is that you don't have to book for an entire week during the summer. Other resorts in the area will only book by the week during their busy season.

We would definately reccomend this hotel!

Room Tip: Lakeview Suite
