I stayed at the Kansas City Marriott the night before a flight out of Kansas City. The hotel is on the airport grounds, and within walking distance from the rental car facilities. You can save money with a rental car by renting it later or returning it earlier, and then using the hotel shuttle to get to and from the terminal. The hotel has undergone extensive renovation, and the interiors are beautiful. The special requests I made online when I booked the hotel were taken care of ahead of time, and it took me less than one minute to check in! The only drawback was that the shower did not have much pressure. Maybe it was because I was near the top floor, but that's one thing that they could work on.

The newly remodeled rooms are the best we've ever experienced, hands down. The beds are awesome- the decor great. Best night's sleep we've ever had in a motel!

Best access to the terminals too. Overall just a great experience. Well done!

Great hotel. I was in and out of KC very quickly, and this hotel was convenient, staff was helpful, and it was clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfy, they have down comforters. New everything. I think construction is almost done. Clean and fresh rooms!! Decent restaurant too.

After reading what some tripadvisor users have to say about many hotels, I was still cautiously optimistic about staying at the Marriott Kansas City Airport. But after landing, taking the hotel shuttle and checking in, I was already impressed by the ease and speed. In Feb, 2005 the hotel is undergoing renovations (and as it turned out I was in an unrenovated room, which surprised me because nothing appeared to be shabby or worn out) but with the exception of getting to the pool and fitness rooms, it was a non-issue and once the renovations are done on that first floor, they will probably affect no one else. The beds were wonderful and the staff that I came in contact with (concierege, shuttle, front desk, dining room and Starbucks) were all equally as nice and welcoming. You couldn't get any closer to the airport - the property is actually within the highway 'entrance' to KCI and the rental cars are just a walk away. I will be back and hands down, will make my next stay at Marriott KC Airport.

Nice hotel. Courteous staff. Nice clientelle. The most outstanding thing about this hotel is its food. The restaurants are OUTSTANDING.. whether for dinner or breakfast. The hotel is very close the airport, but you don't really hear noise from jets. Very nice place, among the best experiences I've had with any hotel anywhere. Modern amenities, quick elevators, and high speed internet connectivity, besides being quiet.
