This is a one of a kind museum. I travel a lot and love to visit museums and zoos wherever I go. I haven't seen anything like this anywhere else.

Enter to an indoor garden of beautiful poppies. Take time to enjoy the exhibit and learn so much history.

I am a history buff so I found it very interesting. There are so many important details in our history we just don't know about. This museum helps fill in the pieces

I was amused when the ticket included a stub for an included second day but they exhibits were so well done, and so interesting, that we couldn't possibly get it AND CAME BACK to see the rest.

Being an Englishman I must admit I was concerned that this museum might concentrate too much on the USA's role in WW1 and pass over the terrible years Europe spent fighting in the mud before the US joined in.
I could not have been more wrong, I have NEVER seen a museum so un biased when dealing with a subject like this. The War is looked at from all sides and the futility and waste of war comes over very well. The video presentation is first rate and the number of artifacts on show is amazing. There are some good attempts at recreating the feel of being in the front line but these ,of course, can only give a vague impression of the hell that it was.
Outside is a huge memorial tower well worth the elevator ride to the top.
Museums like this are truly important least the passing of time dulls our view of how bad war can be. We need to be reminded and this museum dose a very good job of doing that
