We attended a tour last week on a Friday. We went as a family. The teens are somewhat interested. The ten year old was a bit bored. The adults enjoyed the tour. There was a lot of great information especially if you had any interest in coffee. The facility where the coffee is roasted and bagged is fairly small. Our tour guide was an older gentleman who seemed to really be vested in the company and had a lot of knowledge about coffee. We purchased drinks in the cafe after the tour. My cappuccino was one of the best I have ever had!

“Engaging Tour and Excellent Coffee”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

I'm surprised to see less than delighted reviews of their tour and or their coffee.

Perhaps because they are small company, things don't always work as expected. We must have been in Kansas City on a good week - because both of our visits were wonderful.

The tour was informative and humorous. The tour leader has been with the company from its founding and clearly enjoys interacting with visitors.

The coffee itself was excellent. Two days after our tour visit we found ourselves back in the café for another cup of coffee.

“Coffee was great but tour was just okay.”
Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Their tour is okay but nothing exciting. Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't great. At least it was free. The coffee, however, was very good. Not bitter, like you get at Starbucks. Thoroughly enjoyed that. I was also pleased to see a pet adoption going on outside and they had a special blend that they sold and then gave part of their proceeds to the adoption group. Very cool, Roasterie!

“Unique experience at catered event”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

We attended a catered event at this unique facility. The food was good but the venue was great. We got a detailed tour of this working "Air Roasted" coffee facility. worth a stop to see and smell the passion for a great cup of coffee

“Smell That Coffee”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

This was fun little tour. They show you a video to go over the history of the company and then the guide will discuss some additional information and encourage you to ask questions. We had a good group with some interesting questions. We did learn new things about coffee and found this to be a charming tour. The tour begins and ends in the store/café where there are items to browse while you are waiting. This is housed in a unique building and most important - we did enjoy the coffee and tea we consumed in the café.
