The staff made my valentine's day experience worry free. They let us enjoy ourselves and even recommended places to go within walking distance. I love the location of the Plaza Residence Inn...

I have almost nothing bad to say about this hotel. The property was just beautiful, the staff friendly, and most importantly the location could not be beat! Just 5 minutes walk from the middle of the Country Club Plaza. We ate at Jack Stack BBQ and were back in the room 10 minutes later.

Ok, so two minor complaints and only one really has anything to do with the hotel.
#1. WHY do people insist on going to breakfast in their pajamas? When did it become acceptable for people to go to a public location (such as the breakfast area at a Residence Inn) wearing pajamas, slippers (or no shoes at all). Seriously people.

#2. The bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable. Felt like sleeping on concrete. We also had a suite and the sofa bed (where my 3 year old was sleeping) looked like a cereal bowl it was sunken so low in the middle. We all had a heck of a time sleeping.

Other than those two things.we loved the hotel and the area. We'll be trying the Hampton Inn next month as the beds are more consistent with that brand.

We stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable. The building we were in (the "east wing") was an obviously older building, but updated furnishings and fixtures helped to overlook the thin walls and squeaky floors. We had a minor maintenance issue that was quickly addressed. The room was clean and we had no real complaints.

The location was great, within an easy walking distance of great restaurants and shops. Definitely an upscale area!

Wanted a roomy, home-like hotel as I was traveling with 2 teens. We each had our own room with TV ( no flat screens here ), 2 bathrooms and a living room with sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice hot buffet breakfast was included. Free covered parking. Recieved a phone call a few mins after getting up to our room. Front desk was checking to make sure everything was satisfactory. Nice touch. Would definitely return with my family.

Nice place at a great value. We had a shoppers rate that included a $50 gift card for the Country Club Plaza stores and restaurants. We could also use the gift cards for the hotel. We went to many of the downtown attractions. The hotel staff had excellent directions for getting there and back. The morning breakfast was great. Plenty of choices for the whole family.
