This building is a beautiful setting for the library, as well as many community activities. Marble colums flank the southern entrance where huge brass doors invite you into the impossing space, There is a display about the history of the building in the former tellers' windows area. Elevators take you to the outdoor roof deck (available for parites) with its life-sized chess set or to the basement where you can step into the original bank vault, which has been converted into a small film theatre. There is also a small cafe. Well-worth a visit.
