I’ve had a family membership fir several years and have found it to be a very good investment. I’ve visited Union Station with my family several times and have never been disappointed with any exhibit, show or anything I’ve found there. Science City is a favorite of ours, as was the Diana Exhibit, the LEGO Exhibit, and recently the Dinosaurs Exhibit. We’ve also visited the Planiterium and watched a play. A great experience, overall and I highly recommend it!

If you aren't planning to eat in one of the restaurants or visit the science center, this is probably not an exciting stop. The station has been restored and is lovely, but much smaller than stations on the east coast, so it was a bit of a let down for our group. There are some good gift shops and clean rest rooms and air conditioning, so if you are worn out and need a rest break, it's a good option.

I was so surprised by KC's Union Station. This is a working train station, and Amtrak trains arrive and depart from Union Station. It is a beautiful building, with a lovely great hall. There are a couple of nice restaurants and a couple of cafes. All of that was nice, but not surprising. What is surprising is how many attractions/businesses are in the building. This is a wonderful use of space. This is urban planning done well.

The Gottlieb Planetarium
Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre
City Stage Theatre
Art of the Brick
KC Rail Experience (hands-on)
KC Model Railroad Experience (free model train exhibit)

The skywalk is difficult to figure out how to get from one place to another.
Signage should be improved.

First time to see a movie at the Union Station Regnier “Extreme Screen”..watched “The Incredibles 2”.
Even with what seemed like 150 pre-teens in attendance, we had a very nice time.
Good seats and big screen...OK it’s “Extreme”.
For a matinee we paid $5 a piece and I must say it was well worth it.
I would recommend and will try to return when back in KC. Thanks.
