Visited the gardens with my wife while in KC. We walked from Country Club Plaza and took in the gardens. They are very nice and well maintained and everything was in bloom while we were there. A very quiet and peaceful area in the city which doesn't take long to see. You can spend as much time as you want here and there is no cost to get in.

Gorgeous flowers and fountains- I really enjoyed spending the morning there. There were some beautiful hydrangeas. Glad I stopped by!

Took our engagement pictures here in late April. The flowers were in bloom and just gorgeous! Totally recommended, and it's free!

Tucked away and private, this garden showcases formal and informal arrangements and statuary. This is such a perfect place to take a picnic lunch. It is not heavily crowded, but appears to also be a favorite spot for engagement/wedding/celebration photos. It is a serene place to collect your thoughts and dip your feet in the fountain. Shhhhh - don't tell everyone! ;)

Little garden within the city with lots of plants, may be a little too crowded. Enjoyed the citrus trees in the large containers. They are moved into the greenhouse in the winter. There was an interesting robin's nest with two babies. If you were patient you can watch the parents feed the babies. The Kauffman graves were off to the side and not made obvious.
