The walking paths are great for walks with a friend or partner! The rose garden is a beautiful place to sit and have break from walking!

There are beautiful walks, water features, rose gardens in this large, urban park. A lovely place to spend the day and take pictures.

“How can you not love it?”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Loose Park itself is very large and well kept. There is a lovely duck pond and large Shelter. The Rose Garden is centered around a pretty fountain and has many seating areas. From Spring until late Autumn there are blooms. Late Spring/ Early Summer is the most wonderful time for the roses- but any time of year it is worth the trip. Great place to take a load off from site seeing- or let the kids run wild for a bit. I would stick to the park during daylight hours though.

“Well used rose garden”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

Liked the circular formation of the garden. It was just right in size with enough rose plants. It had a decent amount of benches to rest on in the sun and in the shade. Lots of people visited while I was there. Brides and grooms had they photos taken by their professional photographers.
