Great to walk around and stop in various places. Lots to see and fun places to eat.

Forget walking the same steps as Charlie Parker or sitting on a bar stool in a little joint where all the jazz greats once played--it's all gone. The old buildings are gone, even the street was torn up and replaced. What's left is just a facade in a sketchy part of town. It's a shame, too. Kansas City's jazz history has been scraped away, literally. Jardine's doesn't have the history, but does have great live jazz.

This is a pretty interesting place, especially fun for the young folks - a rare change for KC. I've had a lot of fun with my friends here.

The area still needs help in attracting visitors. Things appear somewhat run down.

We have been to the area a couple of times and have not been favorably impressed by the area.
