Took my mother (75) and wife for morning visit about 2.5 hours was good.

Start by speaking with knowledgeable volunteer. She really helped put some toys into perspective by pointing out some of the materials used. We would not have realized as signs were not present. more signage could be an improvement.

Two floors, but there is an elevator if needed. Good flow, so you will not miss areas while walking.

Good access to very well kept restrooms.

Small gift shop with unique toys, games and souvenirs.

Cost reasonable.

This such a cool museum. I'm not big on the doll houses or the miniatures but the toys (from my childhood) and the extensive marble collection are fun. Rotating special exhibits (like Just Colcord) keep it fresh.

This was listed as a blue star museum, so we decided to give it a try. My husband wasn't too excited to go, but after watched our normally-reserved 5 year old daughter bounce around like a pinball, carefully studying as many pieces as she could, he felt it was worth every minute of the hour long drive! My 8 year old son wasn't as enthused, but enjoyed the marble exhibit and Star Wars items. They were also able to make their own parachute for an army guy, which was really fun. I'm planning another trip soon for my daughter and I to visit and take all the time she wants to look at everything (could take hours!).

The amount to see at this museum was incredible. There is certainly something for everyone to view and appreciate. Well worth the admission fee. I would recommend to anyone!
