This is a world class museum wherever you'd find it. But even more amazingly it's in Kansas City. Spend an afternoon or a whole day but don't forget to see the art both inside and out. Take a break at the cafe and just absorb the history and creativity!

Whether you like modern art, classics or something in-between, the Nelson has it. The architecture of the museum itself is worthy of the art it displays. Check it out on your next visit.

Really big place . Will take a few hours to see the wonderful art. They have a few Masters. When I went they had" Water Lillies" by Renoir ,loved it. They have a great restaurant to help make your visit more comfortable. Make a day or afternoon of it. Enjoy!

I'm not really a expert or big fan of art, but I really enjoyed this experience. We went on a beautiful spring afternoon and it was great walking around their well manicured grounds in the sculpture park. My favorite was the shuttlecocks on the lawn. I really enjoy playing badminton so I thought it was kind of quirky and interesting.Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area. Plus it is FREE
