We took a large group of children who were attending a family reunion to this park over Thanksgiving weekend. Some of us went for a walk, others played on the play ground and some others had an impromptu soccer game. Beautiful setting which suits everyone. The park is adjacent to several wonderful residential areas that are so worth driving around in afterwards to see how the 1% lives in Kansas City -- be sure to go to the Kansas side on the other side of State Line Road because that's where the 1% of the 1% lives.

What a gorgeous park in and very nice old established neighborhood! I walked trails and enjoyed the scenery. It was safe, clean and pleasant. Sure wish I had, had my dogs with me that would have made it perfect!

It's a great place to go running (1.33 miles on the perimeter) that is traffic free and usually not too crowded. Also a great place for a picnic, to throw a frisbee, and there are free tennis courts. Lovely fountains as well!

Loose park is such a Kansas City treasure! With it's vast, lucious green lawn, you are sure to find a quiet picnic spot to relax, play frisbee or chase little ones around. There are splash parks, playground equipment, restroom facilities, the rose garden, ponds, and so mcuh more! We went there last over Mother's Day and it was so nice to spread out a blanket and have a picnic. There were TONS of others with the same idea, but becuase Loose is so big, you don't feel crowded. A must see!

My dog loves walking around Loose Park. Meet and greet other dogs, people, and he really finds the ducks interesting! Fine park for walking, tennis, and dogs!
