Bubble gum stuck to smoke detector, sticky floors in front of fridge and lousy continental breakfast. Checking in and out take way to long and I do not like that they take a photo copy of my debit/credit card and questioned it. Will not go back because of that especially.
Thank you, first of all for choosing to stay with us a second time, and secondly for letting us know about things you were dissatisfied with. I remember you pointing these out at check out—particularly the gum on the smoke detector.
I am sorry that you had these issues, and again thank you for letting us know—I could see something like gum on a smoke detector being easily overlooked without someone like yourself being responsible and letting us know. After you checked out, we talked with the housekeeper who was going to be cleaning your room to make sure the gum was cleaned up and to make sure the floor was thoroughly cleaned, and we talked with the housekeeper who had cleaned your room before who missed these things. I am also sorry that you did not care for our complimentary breakfast.
I’ll admit our methods of verifying the presence of a card are a bit antiquated, and we probably need to update our procedures in this area. This is something we will have to be communicating with our owner’s office about. Thank you for reminding us about this.
