The cottage is a beautifully renovated 1850’s building. It was extremely clean and very comfortable, close to the owners’ house: they were not intrusive, but available when needed; a good balance. We stayed four nights.
While being very close to the famous Richmond Bridge, with views of the stone bridge from the bedroom window, the cottage was private. It did not have a washing machine/dryer in the cottage but the owner made these available. The Wi-Fi was the best we encountered in Tasmania. And the sofa was superb; the most comfortable we have ever sat on in holiday accommodation.
The stove had two elements and there was no electric oven. However there was a good selection of saucepans, a microwave oven and, a rarity, a sharp cutting knife.
