“Still has the eerie feel of a goal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013 via mobile

A highlight of Richmond ,
It still has it's characteristic feel of a torture chamber that it was.
A very well maintained structure , with self explanatory signs everywhere , so you can walk around at your own pace and absorb the feel of the place .
It's better than the maze , so yeah if you have a choice do the goal

“Excellent for all ages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2013

If your a history buff, or following the convict trail you have to include this one on your list. The buildings are beautifully conserved, the steps have seen many footsteps and it shows. The kids enjoyed the visit as well

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013 via mobile

It fantastic condition given it's age. Enough to keep young kids entertained and adults interested. It's definitely worth a visit. You'll only spend 30 - 45 mins in there and it's good value for money for a family.

It is quite amazing. The buildings are in great condition considering their ages. The bakery nearby has amazing food as well.

“A bit of Richmond History”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

This place is what we expected based on reviews we had read. As you know it's a very old Gaol with allot of history, It wont take you very long too look around (about 30 mins). Another one of those things to do if you are in the area. It's not as big as I expected. The kids seemed to enjoy the visit
