The detail in this scale model is very impressive - a labour of love. The descriptors at each stage are very informative. A bit of humour added amongst the history of old Hobart. Would love to have the time and patience to build something of this nature.Well worth the visit, will recommend to family and friends.

We got to see what life would have been like in the1820s and also see where the remaining buildings fit into today's landscape. We had a great time trying to find the hidden people we even found Santa. A lot a work has gone into this and the people are really nice so don't miss this attraction

This is very impressive! I have been to Cockington Green model village in Canberra but, as the advertising states, this is the only miniature model of an Australian town or city in Australia. It is well researched and beautifully presented, depicting Hobart as it was in the 1820s. It was great to see the model of old Hobart with photographs of what has since been replaced to create the modern Hobart city of today. It had entailed buildings, bonsai-ed Myrtle trees and funny characters, 4 of which we had to find as part of the tour, which was fun as they were camouflaged well. It is situated 30 km north of Hobart's CBD but it is only a short drive.

Amazing modelling! Brilliantly executed and put together with flare and humour. A well worthwhile visit on a sunny morning in Richmond. Took lots of photos to show the family back home in WA.

The kids get a list of things they have to spot in this tiny town. The detail is amazing, the city as it was is right there for you to see. Was still able to spot the buildings pointed out to us as remaining in Hobart which was also cool
