“Poor Service”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

The food was decent but the service was really terrible. About 5 minutes after we sat down, a large group (20ish people) came in, and we were completely ignored. They served the large group before taking care of any of the rest of us. Peruvian restaurants aren't known for good service, but this was not worth it. Visit one of the many other places on the strip - they all serve the same thing.

“Very good set menu S10”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

We had quite a few set menu lunch deals in Huanchaco and this was the best we had. S10 for a decent portion of ceviche and then a really tasty arroz de mariscos for main and a small coca cola. They also do chicken for a main (so not all seafood).

“Keep Walking Past...”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

With so many options for cheaper meals it is hard to choose. However, unfortunately by going here we chose wrong. Cerbiche was actually quite tastey (hence 2 stars) - mains were tiny and COLD (one main wasn't even eaten) - drinks never came and was just an all-round terrible dining experience.

“Bargain Deal, Especially Good for Solo Travelers”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

Related to El Rey, the original cheap fixed price seafood restaurant near the north end of the strip, this place stared the trend on a block of equal looking restaurants. The meals are now 12 soles and the restaurant is open til 6 pm with a nice view and breeze from the second floor. Many of the restaurants in the area serve gigantic ceviches and seafood plates meant for two or more to share, so it was nice to have a normal sized meal for one. The ceviche and main food aren't huge but together, the two plates are a decent amount of food. An extremely small soda is included.

“questionable”
Reviewed March 26, 2012

they served us drinks that we did not order, and then tried to hustle us into paying for them. we ordered the menu, and it came with a soda, so we ordered coca cola and inca cola. the waitress apparently thought we were ordering 2 extra drinks, but she did not tell us that. she brought what we ordered, and then brought 2 cups of inca cola. we did not drink these 2 cups. when we wanted to pay the bill, she charged us 4 soles for the drinks. the owner tried to hustle us. we had a feeling that this kind of scam goes on a lot at this restaurant... the portions were fairly small as well. definitely you are paying for the beach location, and not much more. the food was decent, but not the best for 12 soles
