This was our first hotel stay in Peru as part of our honeymoon so it was lovely to get a hotel which was cleverly designed (see title), clean and well kept. It was also a nice touch to have petals left by the staff in the shape of hearts on our bed. We were able to chillout and enjoy our stay by the pool, after our long journey from the UK. The pool water was cold but as it was hot, it was a welcome relief.
The hotel is directly on the shoreline so we could see the Pacific Ocean from our hotel room and we did go and explore the beach. However we made a quick decision not to go for a dip in the ocean or partake in any watersports when we saw the dead jellyfish on the sand and live jellyfish in the water. But it was nice to watch the Pelican catching fish as well.
The only downside is the location which is on the far edge of Paracas, making it difficult to use other hotels or restaurants for alternative eating, unless using a taxi. However the food at the restaurant was good and we were only staying for 2 nights so it did not cause too much of a problem.
We were also able to extend our room occupation until a later time for checkout without any problems. This may have been because the hotel wasn't that full or their association with the tour agents we were using, who negotiated this for us.
Well situated for Nazca Lines and Ballestas Islands excursions. We were also able to complete an extra trip of dune buggying and sand boarding in the desert, from the same location.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others if they have a similar itinerary.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the ground floor where the patio goes straight into the pool.

I was travelling solo and after a long and exhausting tour day, the comfort, cleaness and beauty of this hotel gave me all I needed !
My room had the perfect view to the pool and sunset of the beach.
The room was big, with terrace, airconditioner ... complete with all amenities.
I totally recommend this hotel, it was the best one during my trip around Peru.

They hadn't a normal room, so we get e superior one. We had the view on the swimming pool and the room was really big. There was also air conditionning (very necessary) in that period. We also had a terrasse where we could appreciate the view. I strongly recommand this hotel. It is perhaps a little far from the airport (30-40min) where you can get a flight for the Nasca lines.

Paracas is an up coming resort in north Peru. Go now to enjoy before the crowds arrive. This hotel is excellent in every way from the moment you get a warm welcome. The staff are helpful and perform their jobs very well. Right on the beach with water sports facilities. Excellent swimming pool and spa. Excellent restaurant and bar. The rooms are superb with aircon. Just as well it has everything at your fingertips because it is isolated being probably 15-20 minutes walk to the centre with restaurants etc. We dont know how safe it is to walk at night but its probably OK given Paracas is a quiet place.

The Hacienda Bahia Paracas Hotel is an excellent shorefront resort hotel. Large lobby with two terminals for internet access. There was a very large pool in the center of the complex, which we didn't use. We had a nice, quiet, large room with a balcony overlooking the pool and waterfront, #204. Big bathroom, good towels plus pool towels. There was a refrigerator. Apparently, they check the refridgerator and pool towels as part of checkout. Dinner in their restaurant was expensive but very good. Seviche of local Paracas Bay scallops, grilled octopus, "sole," (which was really sea bass).
Satisfactory buffet breakfast in the dining room. Other tourists from USA, England, Italy, Australia, France -- a genuine international group. We were ablt to arrange for late checkout so that we could leave luggage in the room for the morning while we went out to the Ballestas Islands.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the Pacific.

We spent two nights in this hotel and it was the last part of our Peru trip. The first impression was very good. The hotel looks very nice, the room was comfortable and big with a nice balcony and ocean view. Please note that it is impossible to go to swim in this area, you have only pool option. The pool is also very big and nice. The hotel is situated far from the town, there is no any bar or a restaurant in walking distance. You can take a taxi for 10 soles and get to the town of Paracas. We advise to do it for the meal because the restaurant in the hotel is expensive (service not included) and the food is not special. You can have much better choice at the town. The main disappointment was the bar. 10 USD for 1 shot of pisco (it was indicated as "the selection of pisco" both in English and in Spanish). It is a price of a bottle, and there is no such prices in Peru! Fresh juce of maracuya for 5 USD is something from a plastic bottle with water added. The personnel of the bar was also very unfriendly (for the first time during our 12-days trip in Peru), so no surprise that the bar was empty. Another not very nice moment: I asked to take a book form reception in the room and this very old and very used book was signed at our room. When I gave it back and told it at the reception nobody took care to make this note and I was asked again to give the book back. We don't consider this hotel as "excellent" or "perfect" due to the price policy and behavoir of the personnel.

We found this hotel to be a surprise in the luxury of the accomodations. Rooms were spacious with a large separate sitting area. The ground floor Suite Bahia Paracas is fabulous, with a king bed, separate large sitting area. One could walk from our patio right into the pool. There are numerous areas to sit, and a large outdoor bar. The food is exceptional, the Pisco Sours right on the money. This is truly an oasis in the desert.

Room Tip: Ground floor suites allow you to walk into the pool.
