Woke to the sound of arooster crowing at 6:30 in the morning... It was still dark in the bungalow as we listened to the ebb and (sometimes), thunder of the pacific for what would be our last day in Troncones. Bruce and I took a walk along the shoreline and watched the sunrise over the villas. It is the first time since arriving that I felt cold, but the warm ocean water warms your feet nicely and we enjoyed the solitude of an empty beach as the pelicans dipped and soared in formation, wings almost grazing the waves before rising up int the sky. It's been an idyllic 2 weeks here made even better by the local people who have so graciously welcomed us into their village... Tina, her husband Emur as well as, housekeeper Lupe and gardener Alonzo, were all very friendly and kept Casa Ki and its grounds lush and clean, as well as helping us with questions about Troncones. This is the place to stay if you want peace and quiet. If you are looking for nightlife, bars and parties - try Ixtapa for the all-inclusive hullaballoo. The gardens are beautiful... The sunsets - awesome! We will be back!

Room tip: There is no glass in the windows, only screens... If you don't like the sound of the surf, you may want to try somewhere else.

It's always a pleasure to have first-timers at Casa Ki enjoy so much. Bruce and Debbie, you instantly felt like part of the family and it was a pleasure having you with us for two weeks....We look forward to your next visit!

Tina was great and so accomodating. I stayed here while surfing early morning and evening sessions. I was gone before breakfast so Tina kept it for me until I returned. Casitas were nice and comfortable. Great internet - i worked during the days and had no connection problems.

I read some comments about cats...there are cats here and I didnt have problems. They are mellow and friendly. I had one visit me each night on my patio and would run away if i shooed it away.

Thanks Tina for a nice experience.

Staying at Casa Ki is like being at a best friend's home, and right on the beach! Take your food, the kitchen is fully organized. Take your swimsuit and sunscreen, for you will want for nothing else. EVERYTHING is there for you, including a super ocean dipping area just off the porches. Tina and her staff are discrete, available, and kind. The property is clean, pretty, shaded, and so comfortable you will think you have lived there forever. You may want to live there just to hang in the open library while you are cooking your own dinner all the time seeing the waves and feeling the breeze. Bliss!

Room tip: there is a house with two rooms sleeping a total of 6, and a private kitchen. there are bungalows where one can use the out-door shared kitchen. from the porch, all have ocean fronts.

I've gone back 3 times. If you want a pure open-air beach cabana experience, it really can't be beat. Tina and the staff are lovely. They have an honor system fridge with water, Corona, sodas, an open air kitchen. Cabanas are beautiful, charming and really comfortable. Beach is yours. There's a very chill dog and a couple cats around - I'm not at all an animal person and it's never bugged me in the slightest. But probably good to know.

TinaMoore is engaging, thoughtful, energetic...and thus a near perfect hostess. The bungalows are attractive, ocean breeze capturing, sunset perfect. The open Bar, inviting and well stocked. Location, perfect, across from Cafe Sol (town meeting place). Tina is accessible and helpful in suggesting day trips/activities/resturants/ etc. As a resident, traveling thru, too lazy to open-up our beach front property for a couple of nights, Tina verified the logic. Will always prefer to stay there, when only in the community for a few days
Highly recommend

Room tip: go for the ocean front bungalows
