“An amazing oceanfront hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2014

Every year I return to this fabulous mexican oceanfront hotel. I love the beauty, the charm and the peacefulness of this place. It's new, gorgeous, immaculate and spotless. There is a wonderful infinity pool, AC, a full kitchen to cook in and lots of amenities. It is situated next to a world class yoga center with daily classes. The swimming is wonderful, on a uncrowded, beautiful beach.
We stayed on the 2nd floor in a room called Azul which overlooks the ocean and faces the sunsets. it truly is an amazing place.

There are many great places to eat up and down the beach and the food in this town is amazing.

I love this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for Azul with gorgeous views over looking the ocean.

Back for the second time to Tres Mujeres and we were just as pleased with our stay. We had a very relaxing visit, the pool was great for our young kids, and the room was very clean and well furnished. We recommend Tres Mujeres to everyone!

We stayed in the Amarillo Suite. It was a very nice room. Nice size, large open air bathroom that really made you feel like you were in the tropics which was a great touch. We did have an issue with tiny mites on our bed, bedspread, pillows, sheets, right when we arrived but Harmony took care of that immediately with Taro spray & all new bedding. We had no problems after that. You are on ground level so technically anything can enter your room, esp if you keep your patio doors open, so I definitely recommend bringing bug spray for your body & RAID for roaches & scorpions bc we had one of each of those in our room as well. The RAID took care of it. I've been to Mexico over 30x & I am only 34, so I've learned that these things can happen at any resort over the years. I always spray my luggage before I go home too, just in case any bug snuck in, you do not want to bring any home with you. The view from our room was beautiful!! The sound of the surf was loud, just what we love! We fell asleep to the sound of the surf like babies every night. We were very relaxed. No one was ever noisy or up past 10, which was wonderful. The pool area was pretty & clean. There were hammocks & tables & chairs to sit in underneath the palapa next to the pool. Pool had nice lounge chairs & tables. Grounds were meticulously maintained...fruit trees & tropical flowers all over property were beautiful. Sitting it the pool, watching the beautiful ocean waves all day was perfect. We were also lucky enough to see whales & dolphins swimming right in front of the hotel at the same time everyday, it was fabulous. Shelley gave us a wonderful price & was efficient & very easy to work with online & had good tips of where to eat etc in Troncones. Was great having our own fridge & an outdoor kitchen! We loved being able to have a bonfire at night at the hotel, we found marshmallows the size of baseballs at a little store in town. We met wonderful people at the pool who were staying at the resort. Would be nice to have our own phone in room for emergency purposes etc (I know they have a phone to use in the front but I didn't want to bother anyone) but they do have free wifi which was nice, worked a lot better for me on my patio or by the pool area. Next time I would choose the Azul or Turquesa Suites, bc they are upstairs, with bigger beds, & much more of a unique floor-plan. It would be nice to have a safety deposit box in your room as well. It was very nice that a fresh fruit & fresh seafood truck stopped outside of the property every few days. We were able to cook breakfast fajitas, rice, peppers, etc Very liberal, laid back property. I adore Guerrero!! Viva!!

Hello, I would like to say that these were not mites, but tiny ants that were in
the flower decorations that we placed on the bed. We corrected the situation immediately.
Thank you

Tres Mujeres was even better than I imagined. Private, quiet, clean and charming.
The infinity pool has stools in it so you can sit in the water and look at the ocean. This was a favorite spot for me.
If you go to Roberto's, you can dig up the hatched baby turtles and release them into the sea. Pretty amazing.
We loved it here and hated to leave.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely, however, Rosa and Amarillo are steps from the beach.

Tres Mujeres is intimate, low key and private with beautiful architecture and landscaping, infinity pool, right ON the beach, and each room has a patio facing the ocean. We enjoyed everything about it. Hard to leave...
Rosa and Amarillo are the best on beach level, and the two upstairs rooms are really suites, stunning, with outdoor, roofed loggias. Bathrooms are open air. Your shower waters the tropical plants in them. Pool, grounds and rooms are immaculate. Rent a boogie board from a shop up the street and play in the waves. Yoga next door. Excellent restaurant, La Mexicana, with top margaritas, across the road. Perfect.

The pictures do not do this place justice. This is a small 6 room hotel, right on the beach. The rooms all look out onto the beach which is just steps away from the rooms. The rooms are artistically done. I LOVE the bathroom which is partially open to the skies over the shower area. The colors are tasteful and colorful. Each room has a nice patio and you are not only steps from the beach but steps from the infinity pool. The indoor and outdoor kitchen are available for those that want to cook. However there are wonderful places to eat close by. This is soooo much better than big hotels were you have to walk a long way to the pool and fight for a spot. There are lots of little places around the meticulously groomed grounds to sit in privacy. The value is great. I found this through trip advisor booked through booking.com but had trouble with that site. I communicated directly with the hotel via email and rebooked through them. Much better and I got a better room and better price. They made sure the late cancel fee was waived. So just book through the hotel site. They get right back to you and are very responsive. We booked the $110 suite which is a true value and worth it. I met folks who stayed elsewhere and here and definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All suites are great.

My husband, I, and our one year old just got back from spending five nights at Tres Mujeres and I left my heart there. The vibe is so relaxed and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Everyone went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable and well informed about best places to eat and the happenings in this quiet little wonderful town. The beach out front is rocky, but great if you have kids because the rocks offer protection from the waves. If you want to surf or swim just walk a few hundred feet down the beach and you'll have the perfect spot. The grounds are immaculate, the pool, was clean, and there is both an outdoor and indoor kitchen. Also another major plus are the beautiful outdoor showers in each room and how can you not LOVE waking up and seeing the ocean from your bed... I loved every minute here. Another bonus is that the location is really good... It's not in the center of town... but you can easily walk there and it's right next to Present Moment which has INCREDIBLE food and happy hour. It's also walking distance to Café De Sol which has the best brownies and sandwiches I've ever had.

Room Tip: Loved the Amarillo room.
