Stopped by after the beach. Ridiculously huge margs and a heaping portion of the best guacamole in town! Beachfront, casual and tasty, will try for dinner.

Upon arrival we were looking for a inexpensive place to eat with an ocean view. We found it on our first try. The food was exceptionally good and outside under a roof with a great ocean view. We found the prices to be less than the restaurants in the city center. This is very casual restaurant with dirt floors. So come as you are.

Great beachfront place. Don't look at the tripadvisor rank and judge this place - there are not enough reviews yet. Prices are low, quality is high. Grilled fish and seafood cocktail are super great.

If you would like a marg. - order grande!

The cake lady on Calle Marlin sent us to this restaurant. Longtime established restaurant right on the beach and frequented by locals as well as tourists. Margaritas are so big it takes a strong man with two hands to carry it to the table. Ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada and a side of beans- a full plate, so food portions the size of the drinks. Very pleased with our meal and they packaged the leftovers nicely. Try it!

Recently, I had the misfortune in Bucerias of being served the smallest margaria on the North American continent at a cost of 40 pesos. At Costano in Sayulita this misfortune was more than made up for by their gigantic daiquiri at only 75 pesos. This drink was more than four times larger than the Bucerias drink and was delicious. (You can also get a margarita of the same size and at the same price!)

Costano is directly on the beach at Sayulita. It has a sand floor, which is great for kids to play in. While I did not try the food, it looked good and was very reasonably priced. The restaurant was very busy, with most of the clientele being locals.
