I stayed here for the week of New years 2012 and really enjoyed my stay. I am a woman and was traveling alone but meeting friends who were staying in a house close by. The staff was very helpful both before i arrived helping arrange air port pick up and once i was there to be sure i had a great stay.

The yoga in the thatched roof palapa every morning was wonderful and then topped off with a fresh fruit (and many other goodies to mix in) smoothy was the perfect way to start the day. Then you are just a short walk to a beautiful part of the beach that is NOT over crowded w/the beach hotel crowds. The location at first seems a little remote but it is so close to the beach and about 10 minutes to the town (which i found to be a good thing).

The owner, Peter, was there while was there and he was very approachable, friendly and very interested in feedback on how to add slight improvements.

The room was very clean and well kept and again the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. I would go back and stay there again.

Thank you for a great stay to Carolina :) , Gabriel, Marcela and Peter

Room Tip: there is no elevator so if you do not like stairs or have heavy luggage ask for ground floor and you would be right by the beautiful pool which was hardly used while i was there.

The Hotelito was a great, little hotel that was in a quiet part of northern Sayulita, Mexico on the Pacific Coast. It was a very clean hotel that offered great local amenities as well as yoga classes and a coffee and smoothie rooftop bar. Very nice place to stay, within walking distance to the beach and several local restaurants and bars.

Room Tip: The rooms are ventilated in a way that your voices can carry so be sure that folks aren't in the common areas if you're communicating loudly.

We have traveled extensively in Mexico and this is a great find! Newly remolded and very clean. Quiet residential neighbourhood, a block from the beach. Very cool space for yoga (I'm a yoga instuctor) and hanging out. Liquado bar and good coffee. Good WIFI and helpful staff. Rooms simple but adequate.

We arrived late afternoon of December 20th, were greeted warmly by our Concierge, Gabriel, at the entrance and escorted to our room. Room is clean & quiet. A local restaurant was recommended, The Tropical, what a delight! Fresh seafood daily, Ahi, Mahi Mahi, shrimp, etc with vegetables all cooked to perfection. It became one of our favorites. We worked on our tan upstairs in the early morning ( I read 4 books that week) went to the beach for great surf and body boarding. We will return to this lovely venue. Thanks Leah and Gabriel!

Room Tip: liked ours on the ground floor.
