Lovely rooms, friendly and efficient staff and a delicious breakfast every morning. An easy walk to Sayulita beach and shops. Don’t miss out on signing up for the excursion to ‘Mud Beach’.

The quiet location and fresh water pool give you a great place to relax and read. And try making an herbal tea from a plant grown in the hotel’s own garden.

I stayed at Villas Sayulita during a yoga retreat. I loved it from the minute I saw it. well maintained and well decorated. Its is only a short walk to the main part of town and enough away that it makes it a more quiet and peaceful place to stay. As part of our retreat, they prepared breakfast and smoothies for us each day in a delightful area out back. The yoga studio was wonderful. I had the top floor room with two other friends and I loved it. It had a patio space and two bathrooms, a kitchen with fridge. It was plenty of room for us to hang out in and sleep in. The front desk had super friendly staff. The hotel rented beach gear at very reasonable rates and that made getting to the beach nice and easy. Its just two blocks from the beach. Would stay here again for sure.

Room tip: Certainly quieter than staying in closer to town

We stayed in a poolside room on the ground floor with 2 double beds. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is just a couple of blocks from a beautiful and relatively quiet stretch of beach and a short walk into town and the main beach area. The beds were smaller than we would have liked but they were comfortable. It was great to have the kitchen in the room as we were able to keep leftover food in the fridge and warm it up on the hot plate. The pool is not heated but was much more enjoyable than it felt when I dipped my toe in. We spent a lot of time in the pool but didn't see anyone else use it in the 4 days we were there. The breakfast that is included was amazing and the secret garden area was a great place to eat. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager was often around but did not interact with the guests at all, which i found a bit odd in such an intimate location. Room prices differ based on the number of people staying and due to passport issues we only had 2 of our group of 4 there for the first night, but they would not charge us the lower rate. They insisted we take breakfast tickets for all 4 of us and charged the higher rate when there was only 2 of us. Not a big deal but would have been nice to have been more flexible. They allowed our kids to use the loaner BMX bikes to try the pump track which was a cool addition to our stay. Overall we were very happy and will likely stay there again.

The villas were nice, big rooms, with kitchens, a nice breakfast and not a far walk into town, but out of the noisy area of town. The roosters do start crowing early, but that is everywhere. The yoga studio is nice. Sabrina and Salim were very helpful with anything we needed.

Close to the beach, great and good quality breakfast, nice rooms and premises! Is a small hotel so you can hear everything that happens outside your room but it was overall very quiet, specially at nights. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit villas Sayulita!
