We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a huge bathroom, combined living room and kitchen and huge balcony. It had a lovely pool and was immaculately kept. There were separate A/C units in the bedroom and the living room/kitchen. The only thing that was missing was a TV. It was a 10 minute walk from the main beach in the town and about 15 minutes from Playa del Morte. 5 minutes to the nearest restaurant.
It was the best thing about our stay in Sayulita
Casa Jaqui was simply perfect for us.
The location cannot be beat- a couple minutes to the square, a couple minutes to the beach, all down the prettiest street in Sayulita- Calle Ninos Heroes.
The apartments are perfectly designed and proportioned to make it seem like you've got the whole place to yourself.
The terrace, the pool, the open air sleeping (with screened doors) all fantastic.
Again, just perfect.

We arrived and stayed in one of the Regular suites for first few nights. It was large clean and had a great deck overlooking the pool. We moved into the Penthouse for last 7 days and had two king rooms, each with full bathrooms, a huge living area (and another guest bathroom) and a giant deck that was partially shaded most of the day.
The space is great, clean and bright (we never closed our patio doors, day or night) and we never turned on the A/C. All of the needed cooking items were there and Maria did our dishes daily (and we got her to do our laundry once too). A great space to relax.
The pool is larger than we had invisioned and we used it every day (more than we imagined). It is clean clear, cool and not chlorinated - perfect for a cool down dip or morning wake-up. It felt like our own pool as we only saw one other couple use it while we were there.
It is about 5 minutes walk to the heart of Sayulita. It's downhill and on a cobblestone road - easy. The walk back is a bit harder with one steep part then a slow rise to the location - then up, up, up the stairs to the penthouse - a bit out of breath but just take a dip in the pool and all is good. Would be a tough walk for someone with mobility problems. (you can rent a golf cart for your time in Sayulita).
We were there during "Sayulita Days" and were happy we were out of the main streets as the Fair was pretty loud most nights. We could hear it but were far enough away that it didn't bother us at all. If you want a quiet time Sayulita and Sayulita during Sayulita Days may not be your best choice. It's a lively place with people having fun every night. We were happy we had that little buffer from downtown.
Loved our stay and would return again. If I had any wishes for improvement it would be that they had a little more instruction on the amenities, stove, laundry etc - plus some more info on Sayulita itself like where to get groceries, tours, etc.

Casa Jaqui was a wonderful place to stay. It was nice having your own kitchen where we made smoothies in the morning and guacamole in the afternoon. Good location, a 5 minute walk to the beach and the plaza. We loved Sayulita so much that we stayed longer then anticipated and Jackie accommodated us allowing us to extend our stay with no notice until the next guests arrived. Such a steal, we ended up staying in a hostel for a couple nights too and Casa Jaqui was not much more expensive then the two beds there.

Great location....just a short walk into town. Jackie provided all the helpful info we needed in advance of our stay. Sayulita is a place I had wanted to visit ever since I read "Gringos in Paradise" a few years ago and it was exactly as I thought it would be from the book. Great food....from "The Real" Fish Taco stand near the beach to upscale restaurants and very friendly Mexican people. If you go, talk to Miguel and Nina at Real Fish Taco and go see the iguanas that live in a tree nearby.
