Friendly service and good food. Muscles and fries were good as was the seafood chowder. Quiche was ok and the lobster salad was very good. Tarte au sure was very good

Lovely little restaurant at the end of route 199..Very friendly staff. Delicious fresh lobster-waitress was lovely and efficient. Great for watching the fishing boats move in and and out while you are eating. It's very hard work. Great stop

Stopped for lunch after visiting the ‘’little red school house’’ in Grosse-ile, former Anglophone community in Les Iles de la Madeleine (worth a stop!). Restaurant is located next to the marina in L’ile de la Grande Entrée, a few minutes away, and appears to be frequented by locals. We ordered the ‘’guédille au homard’’, essentially a lobster roll. It was served with a ton of fries (store-bought frozen variety). The lobster roll, a lobster salad inside a toasted hot-dog bun was good, but nothing special. Staff was very friendly and food arrived within minutes.

IMPORTANT: the location shown on most maps, such as Google Maps is incorrect (by about 5-10 kilometers); see the attached image for the correct location.

This restaurant is located in the fishing harbour of the Ile de la Grande Entrée, one of the least visited islands of the Iles de la Madeleine (apparently only 25% of visitors to the Iles de la Madeleine ever make it to the Ile de la Grande Entrée).

The restaurant was a bit crowded, but we were welcomed immediately in a friendly manner. The menu had all the traditional "diner" fare with a few gems hidden in the menu, such as the "chaudrée" (a cross between a fish soup and a fish stew). Service was quick. Toilets were impeccable.

All in all, nothing fancy, but typical Madelinot style and a nice place for lunch.
