“Small but perfectly formed.”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

I've played Temple a number of times now and always thoroughly enjoy it. The course is in good condition considering the amount of rain it's had over the Autumn and Winter. It's a 9 hole course with two par 3 holes-the rest are all par 4. If you play 18 holes you will notice that some of the tee boxes are in slightly different positions on the 'back 9'. This gives you a little bit more to think about on the second lap.
We enjoyed a couple of pints in the bar afterwards to round off a great day.

“A Hidden Jem”
Reviewed December 9, 2011

Temple golf club is a 9 hole course but it is a beauty. The greens and the tee boxes are kept in perfect order. There is 3 rooms to let and we stayed in one for 4 nights. The rooms were warn and very spacious. On our first night the electrics went but we were moved to another room. They done everything to get it back that night but it was 10 o clock at night we didnt mind as we just anted to sleep. The breakfast next morning was served in the clubhouse, and oh boy was it a breakfast. We were treated to an ulster fry which you would not get in any of the big hotels. It was cooked fresh every morning by a lovly and friendly lady called leslie. She was a diamond, and couldnt give us enough food. When we were checkin out we got a night off because of the upset on first night, which we thought was good. You would not have got the same treatment in any of the big hotels as we got here. Well done to you all. Oh and the views out over the golfcourse and the mourne mountains was just breathtaking and you would have t go a long way to beat it. All in all it was the best stay in northern ireland thatwe had so far and we travel up once everymonth or 6 weeks. We will stay there again.
