I gather that Wetherspoons isn't going to be a fine dining service - the food and drinks are cheap and aimed at joe-public, however, I didn't expect to be spoke to rudely by one of the barmaids... Service was appalling, change practically threw at me and to top it off my burger wasn't fully cooked and cold. Obviously, might be back for a few cheap drinks at the start of the night (as I imagine is the sole purpose of Wetherspoons these days) but the staff would seriously make me reconsider this place irregardless of how much low-cost booze they could shift into me. Sort it out guys.

The Tuesday bell is an excellent example of the Weatherspoons ethos(giving the public what they really want). The position in the centre of Lisburn is perfect, its a homely, friendly pub,the food is pub grub and doesnt pretend to be high end cuisine There is a welcome for all here push the door open and help yourself to a table.

It is over a year since I was here for a Saturday lunch. Service was poor, and food worse. Haven't been back since and no intention of going back either.

Get a lot of bad press for JD Wetherspoons, but for a great location, clean, warm, great prices and not bad food, what is there to complain about..
I have used Wetherspoons all over the UK and think they do a great job for the public in their locations and prices..Lisburn is no different, great location and brilliant for breakfast and lunch..
Dont use it very much in the evening as i live quite a bit out of town..

this is a great wee spot for a quick bite to eat or a drink. it is very reasonably priced - being part of the weatherspoons range. it has a large seating area and two floors. food cheap and cheerful. a mad rough going though on a fri or sat night!
