We stayed in Seljeveien 10, Oppdal for a week in late February. Weather in Oppdal was nice with sunshine a temperature from -1 to +1 celcius. Ski slopes were mainly n order, but a bit icy. Cross country tracks were actually a bit difficult to find (due to lacking sings), but once you found them you could cross country ski in awesome scenery.
The cabing was very homey because of many family pictures. At first it did feel a bit odd, like we were intruding in someones home when they are not there, but finally it felt nice and homey. (Of cource our 2-year-old broke one frame) The cottage had more than enough rooms for our needs and could hold a bigger party (we were 4 adults and 2 small kids). Even though we had windy weather some days the cottage stayed moderately warm. (We could not use the fire place due to the 2-year-old's sticky fingers). Even though we are a gruop of Finns, we did not use the sauna. We visited the local pubic pool a few times that had a sauna. Location was good if you want to walk to the town and have a short distance the slopes (0,5 km "up the hill").
Price per week meets expectations.
Can and will recommend.
