I was in a group of 7 hungry friends looking for a meal at sunset and stumbled across 'La Treille Muscate'.

Although initially the restaurant was full, the staff asked us to wait a few minutes and they had a table ready for us.

While the first (and the majority of) waiters spoke little English, they asked a specific waiter to briefly explain the menu and tend to our requests. The said waiter spoke fluent English and was very efficient at taking the orders and briefly explaining them to all of us.

The location was central and also a good spot to enjoy the sunset.

The wine menu and attention to detail for the food was second to none. I really enjoyed the truffle pasta along with the starters and the delicious desert.

A must-visit and definitely good value for the cost.

My title of this review probably says it all. The food was so professionally cooked that you enjoyed eating slowly to lengthen the experience. It was served with equal professionalism and the location, amazing. This is one experience my family and I shall remember for years to come.

Although we have been coming to France for 35 years, we had never been to Moustiers Sainte-Marie. Somewhat tired after travel from SC and without reservations we checked trip advisor and narrowed our choices. La Treille topped our list and we dropped by a bit early to check it out. We were seated at a window overlooking the falls. The 34 Euro dinner has set the bar very high for the rest of the trip. The scallops, truffle pasta and veal were outstanding. Then there was that scrumptious chocolate dessert!

La Trielle Muscate — Had a very pleasant meal here. We ordered their 3-course set menu, but also got tapenade & toast and an amuse bouche of small white beans & basil. Our starter was a delicious squash soup with pieces of foie gras, and the main was boeuf bourgogne in a pot. Dessert was glace vanille & ananas. Our wine was a very nice affordable red Charme Des Demoiselles 2014 from Provence. Our table setting was elegant, with nice stemware. Service was excellent, and the owner kindly dropped off at our hotel a bag we had left on a chair back. We’ll definitely return, and highly recommend...

It's our second time there. If you reserve (you must) you can have a table with marvelous view. Staff is very competent and friendly. Food is worth the price (we choose the 32 euros menu), the wine list features excellent Provence wines. We'll keep going back.
