I followed Tripadvisor when I booked and was not disappointed. Expect a modern, family-run hotel at the outskirts of Moustiers (easy 5-10 mins walk to the centre of the village). My room was spacious, quiet and extremely clean, the bathroom had modern appliances and was spotless throughout. The double bed was very comfortable and anything but "French" - it had a nice, firm mattress and was perfect for a good night's sleep. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. All staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Moustiers and the Gorge du Verdon, they had plenty of useful tips even for seasoned visitors. All in all I have only good things to say about Les Restanques - I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay in this beautiful village.

An all around good pick. Easy walk into town for dinner or looking around and a large comfortable room within easy drive of the Gorge. We were there in off season so it was extremely quiet and the terrace which would be a fabulous spot in warmer weather was empty. I would definitely recommend it as a home base for a Gorge holiday.

We stayed one night here at the end of April. We chose the hotel for the reason given above, and we were delighted with our choice. It is situated just off the main road with a large car park. It is about 5 mins walk to the start of the town, where we found that parking would have been a nightmare.

Others have called the hotel a "motel", That seems to denegrate such a charming place. We had a large sunny room on the ground floor with a very good bathroom. A table and two chairs were provided outside our door in the garden area. No restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The lady who owns the hotel was very friendly and helpful, and we would definitely stay there again on any future visit to the area.

Excellent terrace, comfortable room, spotlessly clean.

We took a room facing the garden. The atmosphere there was very relaxed. The room 2 was near the reception which gave us low wifi and suited great. The staff could not have been more helpful. Would definitely return if the need arises

We stayed two nights at the motel, and it was superb. We needed safe parking for our rental car, so we chose the motel. It was perfectly located a few minutes walk from the village. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The breakfast was abundant, and the staff was extremely helpful in telling us how to view the Gorge de Verdon.

Room Tip: Choose a room which has a terrace.
