Best Restaurant in the 50 states, & Europe. Brayden, the master server was beyond expectations.
He allowed us four, to sample all the select beers, until we found one to our taste. Also, his food service knowledge & friendliness was excellent. John, the Chef came out of the kitchen & asked for feedback & suggestions after giving us suggestions, before we ordered; wow!. Cecil, the Manager; is a master servant type of keep the customer happy with excellent food, staff, & facilities. His bathrooms are the best, unique, & clean & warm; ever. What a touch of class in all areas. Thank You Guy's!

This is a great place for both lunch and dinner. Our server was fabulous, and the food exceptional! After talking with him we learned that most of the staff was previously employed at a now defunct restaurant that was a favorite of my wife and I which was located in nearby Columbia MO. So we felt a real connection to this establishment right from the start. The view of Jefferson City is a real bonus, as is the wonderful outside patio area. I can't wait to sip wine and eat good food during the coming months ahead when the weather improves. You can't go wrong dining here.

We went here after riding 10 miles on the MO Katy Trail and decided to have lunch then ride back 10 more miles to our car. After tasting 4 good wines, it was hard to make a decision on which one to order, but we ordered the White Knight, Sweet White Wine! It was so good that we brought two more bottles to go. At 25 bucks a bottle, it had to be some good stuff! And I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich! OMG, was it good! After eating and drinking, I didn't want to leave, was fat and very happy! LoL! This was a Sunday evening about 4pm. I asked the waiter how long will they be open and he told me until the last customer left! Now that's what you call good customer service! I will be going back again, soon! They also have Dinner Murder Mysteries in Oct, Nov and Dec. Check their website for dates and times.

A large group of friends went on a Saturday night. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, view and music. One of our favorite bands, Spontaneous Serendipity, was playing. Find out when they will be there and go! They have expanded their food menu and everything was very good. We had very good service. Perfect for 2 or a group. Give it a try :-)

Canterbury Hill is a recent remake of Summit Lake Winery. The new staff is young, under 30, and energetic. They are working hard to make your visit effortless. The updated menu is nice. A variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks... We've been there three times this summer, once for drinks and appetizers, twice for dinner. Each time it was a pleasant trip. We've ordered the Prime Rib sandwiches, Hawaiian chicken, burgers, the spinach/artichoke dip, the fried mushroom appetizer, and numerous wines (the flight is a great way to sample and compare) and beers. Sometimes the live music is a little rough... maybe back to the garage for some practice, but they're youthful and want to play. And, they bring their own crowd of fans with them. Still a nice place to getaway for dinner.
